autonome

— Knack – 1999

‘JMX is in the house’ klonk het 10 jaar geleden op ‘Mental Floss for the Globe’ van Urban Dance Squad. ‘Resistance’ is pure beat poetry… — Plastiks – 1999

Je vais surtout passer X-Roads et I Know (single-version) ! —  J-P / Rockomondo – Reims Fr – 1999

You’ve stolen my RESISTANCE baby
I’m fallin’ like a lead balloon
You’ve stolen my resistance baby
You call my name and I swoon

And now that I’ve melted
You’re keepin’ ‘em sheltered
Those fancy emotions of yours
You got me all worked up
It’s no time to shirk off
Those favours, those feelings, those cures

You’ve stolen my RESISTANCE baby
And what do I get in it’s place
A package of messed up emotions
And all I can see is your face

You’re hauntin’ my nights
My days, my sights
Your echo’s ever there at the door
You say there’s no chance
of more than a glance
I’m pretendin’ my hearing is poor

You’ve stolen my RESISTANCE baby
You didn’t even have to try
I gave you my cloak of defence
Now here I am ready to cry

It’s my own damn fault
I knew that the vault
Might give in to coaxin’ and smiles
and instead of heedin’
and checkin’ the ceiling
I showed you where my cracks reside

You’ve stolen my RESISTANCE baby
I’m standing here yours and exposed
You’ve stolen my resistance baby
I’m divin’ head first, here goes
