YEP

JMX is here to stay.     — Plastiks 1996

— Knack 1996

‘Tremol’ and ‘Corse’ dig so deep into Jean-Marie’s bag of tricks, Amon Tobin et al should be on the phone pronto.     — UK – Muzik 1997

— NL – Update 1997

Old skool but from a different background are the Corsican singers that style the mood for “Corse”. Besides their singing, the guitar makes an immediate impact with a bluesy intro that evolves into a deep and moody vibe. “250 BPM Freestyle” is a 9 minutes epic beginning as a minimalist and abstract tune, but via a mass of jazz flashes it turns into a freejazz and scratch orgy.  The track “Big E” is built around a midtempo rhythm section with cockpit flashes, weird sound bits and a funky guitar.     — NL – Fusebox 1997

There’s some serious talent at play here,  each track rubs against the grain of normality. Deviant and different.     — UK – Muzik 1998

De afsluiter ‘Help!’ is van grote kwaliteit.     — NL – Opscene 1998
